Some Signs That Your Man Should Not Do The Laundry
Clothes are costly, so laundry is an important thing. Doing the wrong thing could actually cost a lot of money. While extra help around the house is always welcomed, some people are just not suited to do everything. If the laundry is an issue, it may be time to gently tell her that you will handle it from now on.
You accidentally left your new men’s sport watch in the pocket of your pants. Common sense says that as things are thrown into the washer a person quickly checks the pockets, but not her. Now your watch is wedged tightly in the lint trap of the dryer. You shudder as you think about what the charge for the repair is going to be. You really liked that watch.
Your wife’s maternity wear was cute, expensive but cute. After once through the laundry it now looks like it will fit the baby. She is returning to the mall to replace her clothes. Insisting that they were simply poorly made, she is making trips to even more expensive stores this time. This is not something that you had planned in the budget.
After finding out that her women’s brown boots were machine washable she popped them into the washer right along with towels and delicates. After looking over the boots several times you are not sure that they will ever dry. The towels, being hearty and durable in nature, have survived. The delicates did not fair so well and she is making another trip to the mall.
All the socks are pink. The shirts that you know used to be white are now pink. Something has most definitely gone wrong, and your spouse refuses to admit that this is not normal. While it is true that real men wear pink, real men generally plan it out first.
You will both die from static electric shock. There is no doubt in your mind. A fleece blanket has been laundered, and dried, with silk pajamas. Why not? Both are meant for sleeping so there was a line of logic used here. Heaven help you in your attempts to pull apart the items at all.
The dog is proudly sporting a teal blue cashmere sweater. Your spouse calmly explains that the sweater was always meant for the dog. You remember how much the sweater cost. At this time, you need to have a long chat and re-evaluate your division of chores and responsibilities.
